General Contractors
This traditional approach to construction involves the assembly of Stevens Construction Co., Inc. associates, selected subcontractors, and material suppliers working under the direction of our project managers and superintendents. We have the capability of performing concrete placement, steel erection, and rough and finish carpentry using our own personnel. For projects that require this approach to construction, Stevens Construction Co., Inc. is a proven leader.

The General Contracting approach to construction is based on the theory that the best and most economical way to construct a building is to choose an architect and then select contractors through a series of competitive bids. The bids are normally limited to a small number of prime contracts and the awarded contractors will conduct their own subcontracting for the building process. Costs from subcontractors are marked up by the prime contractor and included in the bids to the owner.
